I'd like to share some thoughts I have
On women that I know.
I pray the things I have to say
Will help you all to glow.
You see I've heard so many times,
"Oh Lord help me loose weight.
I need to show the ones I love
That I can still look great.
To those who've thought or said these things,
I have some things to say.
I hope they find the truth here in,
For this I humbly pray.
The beauty of a woman comes
From qualities within.
They can’t be measured with a tape
Nor gained by being thin.
These beautiful and special gals
Are in each one of you.
You each are rich in qualities,
This much I know is true.
The way you smile or cock your head,
The twinkle in your eye,
The way you hold a baby’s hand,
The softness in your sigh,
The way you walk with confidence,
The way you swing your arms,
The way you laugh or wink at me,
Are counted with your charms.
You each are beautiful you know,
In spite of size or shape.
So focus on your qualities,
Instead of measuring tape.
