.
While Fall advances in the air
And leaves are turning gold
The children think of Trick-or-Treats
While temperatures turn cold.

Then trees are bare, the leaves are gone
And winter’s on the way
While holidays advancing and
The skies are mostly gray

Thanksgiving time is here, then gone
The turkeys were so great
And Christmas time will soon be here
The Children barely wait.

Then toys and laughter brighten smiles
With family gathered round
And joyous times are had by all
And love for all abound.

And more importantly recalled
While hearts and spirits soar
We celebrate this time of year
The birth of our sweet Lord.
