They were silent tears that fell that day
They fell for those who passed away
Through gritted teeth that had to say
We’ve lost our best, for them we pray.
These silent tears that fall like rain
From reddened eyes our cheeks they stain
They signify our countries pain
And yet we will arise again.
Though countless tears we all have cried
Are always wet and never dried
The innocent are on God’s side
We are resolved in nations pride.
