Yes, I remember long ago
When I was bouncing to and fro
Alone was I, without a mate
I feared alone, I’d live my fate.
But then within those darker days
There came a light, like sunny rays.
And from that light, a dream came true
Because the source of light was you.
Through time we kissed and shared our dreams
And hoped for things, the future brings
Then holding hands we walked the isle
And start our journey with a smile.
And now as I look back with pride,
Remembering times we laughed and cried.
I’m pleased you came into my life
And volunteered to be my wife.
And now as we recall our start
Renewed we are within our heart.
And on we go, two hearts as one
Committed till the journeys done.
With love and sacrifice we share
And do our best to show we care.
While holding hands we feel alive
We’re striving now for thirty-five.
