While walking through the woods one day
I came upon a stream;
And as I stopped to ponder there
My thoughts recalled a dream.
And in this dream I saw someone,
A woman tall and fair
And in this dream I saw her face
T'was sweet beyond compare
Then as I smiled, remembering
This very special dream,
I realized she walked beside
The waters of this stream.
Just then I heard a crackling sound,
The snapping of a twig.
I wondered what could be up stream
And just how small or big.
But then my unsuspecting eyes
Found loveliness instead,
And thrilled I was to see the gal
Whose thoughts had filled my head.
Oh yes, my dream had come to life
I couldn't help but stare.
Yet as her lovely eyes met mine
This time was ours to share.
So if you have a dream in life
Don't quit or let it go.
Cause dreams sometimes come true my friend.
And this I've come to know.
