Misty Vision

In shadows of the misty night,
There came a vision to my sight.
It was a scene of pure delight;
I couldn't help but stare.

In vivid colors so profound,
This vision came without a sound
With feet that never touched the ground;
With you, I'll try to share

Within the vision, I could see
A woman clothed in purity.
She was as lovely as can be,
A queen beyond compare.

And then within her arms I saw
A tiny brown and furry paw.
The creature was without a flaw.
It was a baby bear.

I watched the woman pet his fur.
He closed his eyes completely sure;
She nurtured him with love that's pure
And with more love to spare.

And then the meaning was so clear
With symbols that I held so dear,
While in their eyes I saw no fear;
So void of life's despair.

The love conveyed by loving Queen,
This mother's gift of nurturing;
Her love for child is always seen
And happens everywhere.

The bear, a symbol to be strong
And represents, we all belong,
With hope and faith we can't go wrong
And that we all must care.

Now with this vision fresh in mind,
A greater love I hope we find;
Our families can be combined
And this is now my prayer.
