My heart is what I have to give
And this I give to you.
I give it at this special time,
And hope you feel it's true.

Somehow I feel this special love
Grows stronger on these days,
And so I try to show it in,
These warm and loving ways.

I'll give some flowers and a card;
Perhaps a gift or two,
Then tell you with sincerity,
How much this man loves you.

So with my bare and open heart
I hope that you'll be mine,
And ask you with this love I feel,
Please, be my Valentine?
