Still
I Wish

Sometimes I wish for things I see,
And often they are just for me,
But that was in my younger days,
When I indulged my selfish ways.

And then I found another way,
Then in my wishing, I would say,
Ok look, I see a thing that’s new.
I wish I could get that for you.

But here we are this special day;
I find I’m back to my old way.
I found something I wish was mine.
I wish you’d be my Valentine.
