While traveling across this land,
We've met a lot of folks.
We shared some thoughts and poetry
And even told some jokes.


We've found that if we stop to talk
And smile with words we share,
That strangers will respond in kind
And show they also care.

So if you find you'd like to add
Some friends to those you know,
Then try the things that work for us,
Wherever you may go.


And as we all go on our way
We'll smile at all we greet,
As we develop brand new friends,
From those we chance to meet.
