And then as I began to wake

And then I drifted back to sleep,
Returning to a vision deep,
And there I'm back with your sweet love,
With all the softness of a dove.
And there with you my joy's complete,
With loving touches, Oh so sweet,
And there with you this love we build,
My joy, my heart, my love's fulfilled.
And then against my wishful heart
I am awake, from dreams I part,
But then I turn and there you are
Right by my side, you're not so far.
And then I smile as you I feel
Because I know that you are real
And as I thrill in your sweet touch
My love has grown for you so much.
