Vision's Moon by James O'Brien

A vision of a lovely night
Is often in my dreams,
And in it you are by my side,
Alone, or so it seems.

We sit and keep each other warm,
Out in the evening air,
And tell each other of our love,
And how we really care.

The vision seems so clear and as
We watch the silvery moon,
My heart tells me the vision's true
And should be very soon.

Until that time, I'll sleep at night,
Sustained by vision's theme,
And share with you the vision's moon,
That comes within my dream.
