I felt the softness of your lips
Then touched them with my own,
And as I did, I felt a feeling
I had never known.

My heart was singing with each beat,
A song of pure delight,
And as I felt this love so strong,
I held you oh-so-tight.



Then as I gazed into your eyes
I had so much to say,
But words were trapped within because,
You took my breath away.



It was that night, that special night,
I freely gave my heart,
And pledged to love and care for you,
And that we'd never part.

Then I caressed you tenderly
And held you close to me,
Then kissed again, a sealing kiss,
For all eternity.
