There are some special times in life
Some special people too.
They seem to sift our thoughts and faith
With things they say and do.
But there are those who stand apart,
Who’s spirits are unique,
And when they share their thoughts in words,
More than their words they speak.
More than their mortal words convey
Eternal gifts they give,
Because it's more than just their words
It's how they choose to live.
And so these words I say to you
With gratitude and love.
You are that special gift to me,
An angel from above.
